FC Bath PLAYER REGISTRATION GUIDELINES - 2024/25
- Get registered for the start of the Season
To be registered for the start of the coming season you will need to complete the FC Bath Player Registration Form by
6pm Sunday 2nd June 2024
.
We cannot guarantee that any player registering after this date will have a place in a team and be registered with The FA/League ready for the start of the season, although we will do our best!
The Pre-season registration is a requirement of The FA and the County Football Leagues.
- Existing FC Bath Players
If you played for FC Bath in the League last season, please follow these steps:
1. Complete the FC Bath Player Registration Form.
After submitting your Registration form you will be emailed by the club, within 3 working days (Mon-Fri), to confirm receipt of your registration and to provide you with payment details for the Player Team Fee.
2. Pay the Player Team Fee
Team Fees need to be paid by bank transfer and to have been received before we can complete your Registration with The FA and the County League.
- Player Team Fee
£60 - when joining the team in first half of the season (between September and before Jan. 1st)
£30 - when joining the team in the second half of the season (after 1st Jan.)
The Player Team Fee is a critical contribution towards the numerous costs of running your club/team. These club/team costs include:
- FA & League Affiliation/Registration Fees
- Public Liability / Personal Accident Insurance
- Pitch / Referee Hire
- Team Equipment: Goals, Balls, Bibs, First Aid Kit etc
- Cost of sending Team Managers on compulsory FC courses/checks, e.g DBS/First Aid/ and Basic Coaching Course
- Club kit for Team Managers (Tracksuit, winter coat etc)
- FC Bath Club Running Costs
Regional Tournaments (NO player fee this season)
Player Team Fee will also provide each team with a budget of £100 for attending approx. 3 Regional Tournaments so there will be no cost to players attending. In previous seasons players were asked to pay for attending Regional Tournaments, in addition to Player Team Fee.
- Coaching Fee
Please Note: The Team Fee does not include the cost of Football Coaching sessions which are delivered independently by our Professional Coaching Partner, Sport Bath Ltd.
FC Bath has chosen to use Sport Bath's football coaching school, SOCCER FOOTBALL COACHING [SFC]. SFC coaching schools deliver an excellent coaching environment thanks to their highly qualified and experienced children's football coaches. Find out more about the SFC
3. Once we've received your Player Team Fee we'll email you back (allow up to 5 working days) to confirm your place in the team.
Your team manager will also be in touch, by email, to confirm all details regarding the team and matches for the season.
Please Note: Team Managers and Club Officials are all volunteers with full-time jobs, they will aim to get back to you at the earliest opportunity.
- FC Bath Team Kit
4. The email we send to confirm your place in the team will also provide all details needed for ordering your team kit.
If you are joining the team later into the season we suggest that you check with the team manager if they are aware of the kit being changed for the next season - this will help to prevent you buying a kit and only getting limited use from it.
Please Note: Team kits can change each season for various reasons, such as a change in the shirt sponsor, the previous season's kit being discontinued by the manufacturer etc. FC Bath will always try to keep a kit running for as long as possible in order to reduce the financial cost for parents.
